A charming little floral piece. Ends are scalloped. Sides indent. Small blue background piece as an insert with a tiny flower on center. Two floral sprigs sit on each side of the focal point. All embroidery sits on a white crisp background.

Side embroiderey adds a blue spark and repeats on the other end. Embroidered piece features lazy daisy stitches, running stitch. I believe that the embroidery is hand sewn, but the blue on the edges as well as the lace edging are machine made.

A sweet piece that you can use as is or add to something else. Fold it and fill with French Lavender. Lovely bedroom pillow results. Gently washed and ironed by me. Doily/mat measures 17 inches from lace to lace edge. 12 inches wide. I love the old linens and appreciate the quality and care that someone spent the time embroidering, don't you?
